"Mµzantiks is an on-line interactive education tool
for music composition and performance that will stimulate children's
creative interest in music and science in support of the National
Curriculum."
As part of Phase One, Sparrowhawk & Heald was involved in
creating accompanying teacher resources for use online or on CD-ROM.
These included a guide for teachers, curriculum mapping the Mµzantiks
website to the National Curriculum learning objectives for Music,
Science and ICT, plus lesson plans suitable for use with a range
of children.
Sparrowhawk & Heald used their in-house expertise to produce
the teacher's guide, and their contacts within a network of teacher
writers to commission the lesson plans. These were then edited
and pdfs were created in-house, utilising and integrating existing
stylesheets to ensure that the resources complemented the design
of the site.
